Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Jordan Stearn graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cedar Hill High School in 2015, and Cum Laude with a B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies from Prairie View A&M University (HBCU) in 2020. Mr. Stearn is a Teacher of the Year Awardee (2021-2022), and a 3x winner of Teacher of the Month (2023) who teaches 4th grade in the Duncanville Independent School District.

Jordan joined BOOM as a SPARK (college student) in 2019 and currently serves as a Program Manager for BOOM’s summer programs. As such, he leads curriculum design for the K-8 BOOM Freedom Summer program and is a coach to SPARKS in the BOOM Freedom Fellowship. Mr. Stearn shared, “The reason I am passionate about BOOM is because with the way the world is going, the youngest generation can be led to believe the wrong things, and history can literally be erased from their memory. BOOM shows our FLAMEs other ways to be profitable and make back what you sow.”

Mr. Stearn loves journaling, traveling, reading supernatural books, and creating literature.
He practices the mantra:
